Shawnee Smith (born July 3 1970, 5 feet tall"3" is an American TV and film actress and musician. Smith is most likely most well-known as Amanda Young, in the Saw film series and Linda Becker in the CBS comedy show Becker. Smith was once the frontwoman of Fydolla, a metal band which toured the United States and Great the UK. Smith is now half of Smith & Pyle a country-oriented desert rock group along alongside Missi Pyle. Shawnee Smith is the daughter of Jim Smith, a former US Air Force Pilot and financial planner, who also worked as an oncology nurse. Smith was born in Orangeburg South Carolina. The family relocated from South Carolina to Van Nuys California when she was an infant. Her parents divorced at the age of two, and her mother got married at the age of eight. Her school was Ranchito Avenue elementary school in Panorama City Los Angeles, and Madison Jr. High School located in North Hollywood. She then was a student at North Hollywood High School in North Hollywood California and graduated in 1987. In the episode Antidepressants Are So Not a Big Deal, she and songwriting partners Jack Dolgen & Adam Schlesinger were awarded the Primetime Emmy Award 2019 for Outstanding Original Music & lyrics. Rachel currently is on a tour in support of the performance Death Let Me Do My Special. Rachel was able to sell out Radio City Music Hall by playing Crazy Ex-Girlfriend : Live in a tour that included multiple shows. That same year, she performed on her own tour, What Am I Going to Do with My Life Now? In the program was an entire week of shows at Just For Laughs.
